carlo
Hy Cakewalk friends, A very strange issue is happening here with a two panes records in the same track! I can hear only one! Although I can see both lanes ( Record 2 /Take 1 and Record 3) I can only listen to the Record 3 lane! I have tried to copy the Record 2/ Take 1 to a new track and linked it to a new VSTi but no sounds come out of it! It seems that all notes are muted on that lane! I have checked MIDI and velocity and everything seems ok but no sounds come out of it! Any help on this mystery? Thank you Edited 20 hours ago by carlo
carlo
Well, finally I discovered the answer! It was automatically Muted and after typing K on PC keyboard the MUTE function regarding to that track was back to Off and I can listen now to this lane. I think Cakewalk could give us a hint/clue somehow about this automatic function! It was hard for me to solve it. OutrageProductions
It's not "automatic"... you had to type the "K" key at some point. The clue when using "clip mute" is that the subject will change to a 'greyed-out' appearance. To avoid that issue you can change the default keybinding to something else that takes more deliberate forethought. Does the modern Sonar not still use the "universal no" symbol on muted clips?
John Vere
It takes less than 10 minutes to find out for yourself. Cakewalk we are now told is a goner. So no point spending any more time on it.
