How do I recover lost file

i've been working on a song for maybe an hour now and just finished, but when I went to save bandlab completely crashed and I lost all of the progress. I can't find the autosave file anywhere and it's starting to get to me. I'm upset cuz I was really proud of the song and it crashed just when I finished

If you can't find an auto saved version in your projects folder and you didn't save manually during the time you had the program open then you probably lost your work. The next time you work in Cakewalk setup auto save and get used to hiting ctrl-s often to save.

I would try searching for wav files that may have survived somewhere that could be used to reconstruct any of the lost project. Worth a try anyways
