Can't remember how to do that other than dragging it. I recall I could put in some number offset and it would automatically populate. Or was that Cubase on my Atari? Thank you, that's very cool! Will this work if multiple clips are selected? Is there a way to tell it, place the clip every (x) bars between measure 32 and 48? In the slide option select measures and then enter the number of measures (under a - sign for sliding backward! ) Good luck! The optimum way to do this is with Ripple edit. Either Ripple edit all, to move the entire project forwards or even backwards. Or Ripple edit selected. Slide does not move some of the automation data and I think tempo map, but it does move the entire clip that you have selected. So select the clip that you want to slide, then go to process - slide, and then in the slide window insert the number of measures you want to move. I am not sure what you mean by "3 times." Also, you can select a clip and drag it to the measure you want to move it to. I would set snap to grid to "whole" so it moves snaps in at the beginning of a measure. To move, say your entire project four bars, so you add a four bar intro. 1. Enable Ripple edit all. 2. From the project menus select insert time and measures. Place the now time cursor at the point you want to insert those 4 measures. 3. In the box enter 4, ensure all options are ticked, click OK 4. Disable Ripple edit all. But if there is no need to move automation or other data other than the clips, it seems quicker to drag the clip or use the slide function.
