sjoens
In case the site manager is not aware, CbB is no longer able to activate, along with uploads failing. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T5f4wzFHsaTnCH1EmfVzafZ7DjWp2sqq/view?usp=sharing Edited Monday at 05:57 AM by sjoens
Paul G
I've been trying to reactivate for a while now. I hope someone is looking into this. Thanks.
jmmakesmusic
Found the fix: They changed the activation backend/server in 29.09.0.120, therefore why older versions results in a (1, 401)/HTTP 401 Unauthorized error. Need to go to https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk/, and download the (update) installer there, and run it. Don't bother to do this through the discontinued desktop app or Cakewalk itself, it also results in the same "(1, 401)" error. After it finishes updating, launch Cakewalk and ensured your still signed in, and you should be activated. Luckily it looks like activation for early Cakewalk by BandLab will be still here. For now. sjoens
Thanks. This post explains it. Must upgrade to 2024.12. I was on 2024.07 so it finally caught up with me. Still no explanation why uploads aren't working tho. Edited Monday at 05:58 AM by sjoens
