Vilay Luanglath Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Hello, Apologies if this has been posted previously. I was a Sonar user before BandLab (purchased full license from Guitar Center in 2015 (16?). Have not used since Covid. Wanted to work on some small projects, and it keeps prompting me to pay the $99 membership/subscription. And when I try to save a project, it will not let me save until I pay/activate. Trying to sign into Cakewalk for legacy users and of course I forgot my password. I try the lost password reset, provided my email (several times) but I never received the link. Are legacy users - that paid for the software locked out? What can I do? Any assistance/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you! VL
noynekker Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Most legacy users moved onto the free version of "Cakewalk by BandLab", or use new "Sonar" with the subscription. Your best bet to re-activate your Sonar 2015 version would be to reach out to Cakewalk support. Also, I think you can still install Cakewalk by BandLab (free), which is miles ahead of 2015 anyways. 2015 is the Gibson era, and they are long gone as an owner. 3
Bristol_Jonesey Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Send an email to support@cakewalk.com describing your problem. They'll get it sorted out. Once that's done, open up an account at Bandlab, download & Install Cakewalk By Bandlab (CbB).
