Astraios
Hi and Hello, there are ten thousand VST plugins, but I'm having trouble finding a really good VST3 MIDI Monitor. I've been using Cescato's VST2 for years inside of Cakewalk Sonar (see photo). I can open two instances simultaneously in FL Studio, but not in Sonar at the moment... Does anyone know of an even better one? MIDI OX is fantastic, but unfortunately, it's not a VST...
Variorum
If you just want to monitor Midi messages, there are a couple of basic MidiFX on TenCrazy.com that will do it. PortDiag: In the course of developing MFX plugs, and in helping people on various newsgroups, I often have a need to peek at an incoming MIDI stream to see what's being generated by the keyboard (or other plugs!). This little plugin help a lot in that department. Now with clipboard copy support! TrackDiag: Mario Bianchi wanted something like PortDiag, but that works on in-track MIDI data instead. TrackDiag can reveal what data is being output from a MIDI track and all the MFX before it. 2
Astraios
And as I see it only works on oddamn 32-bit(ch) and ahhh 😗it has to be started in BitBridge mode to be able to open two instances. There is another (Free) VST-Monitor from AIXDSP, but I'm not able to download it, hmm? Edited 15 hours ago by Astraios

Not a VST but https://www.midimonitor.com runs from your web browser. Also not a VST but MIDI View is a standalone that can have multiple sessions open.

It is available on their Discord Website, but it was a dissapointing show up... As far as I can see "PizMidi Monitor" has best options: https://thepiz.org/plugins/?p=midiMonitor Resizable, scrolling midi monitor. Change background colors to your liking. Optionally shows raw MIDI byte data. Can save log as text or midi file. 64-Bit
