treesha Posted May 22 Share Posted May 22 (edited) This is an old song I wrote and since I enjoyed making my first AI video for Snake Dance and thought Carousell has some interesting imagery I could make an AI video with, so I redid the old song and made this video using free online AI video generators. I really do find the AI odd things funny so they are there as is. My favorite of all the oddities is the kangaroo fight that looks more like they are air drumming. I used Addictive Drums 2, the SI Bass, 2 Sampletank organs, a Kontakt guitar instrument I think was free called Direct Tele Lite with sonible entropy to make it more percussive, Kontakt brass trumpets and an old sf2 Trombone and Saxophia gen 2 sax that I think was free. Forgot what marimba but likely IK or Kontakt. I think the lyrics are clear so I wont post them. Thanks for listening and any feedback and I hope you have a few entertaining minutes. Its interesting from the time I made the Snake Dance AI video to making this one, seems like more and more free AI video generators show up. https://aifreevideo.com/ is the one I used for most clips in this video because it was fast to generate the clips and no signup required. I hope its ok to put the links in this post ? One that makes better quality is https://hailuoai.video/ but you have to make an account with an email and the wait times can be quite long depending on how busy they are. So I went with fast and no watermarks. I really am amused by putting in the description and seeing what these generators make. Over the years I have done a lot of videos and I also mentor some youngsters these days on video production - however these AI generators seem to get better end results by the day!! When I was making up the organ parts, I really tried to imagine and emulate what my former Jamaican bandmate Jah Banny would have come up with on the organ and I think I made up better stuff that way. Glad you enjoyed both ! I haven't done many videos and who knows about the future but I don't think I will make so many I need to buy an AI video program and the free ones are good enough for me. I'm pretty slow at finishing songs. I agree that they get better all the time and that AI is going to impact us in ways we can now foresee like in the arts, but probably some unpredictable ways too. Technology does that. For now, its fun to play around with the free stuff and I hope your students enjoy what you teach them. I think that's great.
