Show track always expands downwards (zoom)

Please help, every time I open a new project and create a new track, the track display always zooms down, so I have to drag the track before creating a new track.

The new track inserts last in the track pane. Is that what you mean?

A workaround is inserting as many miditracks as needed and then in the tracks menu above the trackpane, select "sort tracks" and select "order: descending".

Do the same for audio tracks.

If you right-click on a track's number and select Insert xxx Track it will appear above the track you right-clicked on.
