Arturia V Collection 11 April 24th

From what I have seen (including checking out the demo presets through Analog Lab), the LoFi is much better than the LoFi entries in the NI Play series.

With NI, they seem like they are just tacking lo fi on the end of things, like "Hey let's take our new piano library and run it through Trash so it has a bunch of distortion and media noise and vibrato"

Arturia seems to have more of a vibe like "LoFi?  Like the cheap stuff we used when we were starting out and this is the best we could afford at the time?  I got an old Casio, you still have your old PortaStudio.. maybe we could get some old  Radio Shack mics and one of their old 'reverbs' ..."

Can't lie, loving the Pokemon card style presentation of the new products on their website! :)

And I'm impressed by how well they created the effects. Those cards aren't pre-rendered. It's all just divs, CSS and JavaScript. I've never seen any website with such an effect.

I'll just mention it one more time.  Always best to wait for the Black Friday sale unless the FOMO just has you!  $99 upgrade from any version of V Collection to the current one.  (FX is $49 upgrade.) Usually not bad for a few new synths a year, but VC11 doesn't add enough for me to bite - still wading through X.

Check your upgrade prices again.  Mine is now 99.   I'm trying to figure out what is really new that I don't have in the previous one.

Basically you get the JUP8000, full version of Augmented Maletts, whole Augmented series GUI overhaul, the SEM rewritten from the ground up. Plus any of the new synths they have released this year, Minibrute I think, Augmented Yangtze, Acid V(? That is a guess)
