subvibe Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Hi Nice combo of instruments almost chaotic in places but all blends well Great Stuff  subvibe
jbraner Posted April 21 Author Posted April 21 Hi subvibe - thanks for listening! Quote  chaotic in places That will be intentional  1
Bajan Blue Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Hi John i like this, excellent guitars. just one thing, and this just may be a personal preference, but i don't really like the sound of Modo Drums or the Modo Bass. I got them free in an IK upgrade a while ago and as much as I tired I couldn't get them to sound "real" to my ears. this of course could just be me!! Other than that really like this Nigel Â
jbraner Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Hi Nigel, Thanks a lot for listening. I've never tried MODO Drums but I do like MODO Bass. What do you prefer for electric bass?
Bajan Blue Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Hi John I have a number of different bass guitar i use depending on the track - Vigier Arpege, Vox Standard, Musicman Stingray Active, Futurama Bass, Fender P Bass,  8 String and an Acoustic Bass and an Epiphone Thunderbird - i run them through my Bass Amps, such as Roland DB 500, Vox Escort or sometimes direct. cheers Nigel Â
MichaelJohn Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Has a cool vibe and I like uptempo instrumentals.  Bass sounds good to me. The bridge is amazing!
jbraner Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 Hi MichaelJohn - thanks a lot for listening and for your comments
Kevin Walsh Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Really nice, love the chord progression. Drums are great. The atmospheric guitars are very nicely done. I use modo bass a lot while I'm writing a song, I just hate having to re-record bass lines when I get an idea when I can just scooch some midi notes around a grid and modo is great for that. Good work!
jbraner Posted May 7 Author Posted May 7 Hi Kevin, Thanks a lot for listening and for your comments. So, do you play the bass?
treesha Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Thick. The synths add another dimension. I think the tone of the bass helps it cut through. Variety. Enjoyed it. Â
jbraner Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 hi treesha - thanks a lot for having a listen! and for your comments. I really like MODO bass - for cutting through
jbraner Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 Thanks for listening mark - and thank goodness for multiple takes!

jbraner Posted May 8 Author Posted May 8 I'd love to be able to play a real bass - but that's not gonna happen in this lifetime
Max Arwood Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Love the intro I thought Annie Lennox was going to sing. I have aleays liked how you could put unlikely parts  together and make them work. And work well.Â
jbraner Posted May 21 Author Posted May 21 Hi Max - how are you doing? I haven't heard from you in ages! Thanks a lot for listening - Annie was busy, so I just recoded it without her  1
