Yury Posted yesterday at 03:21 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:21 PM Hi everybody. May be some of you have same problem I have. Never had this before, but some time ago I begin noticing when i play my project delay between when I press space button of my keyboard and the time when it actually start playing . Same thing with stop. I have pretty powerful computer (I7, 32gb memory, mv2 hard drives). Cakewalk by the band Lab does not show performants overloading. Project that I am talking about has 30 tracks, but it does not mean they play always at the same time . If someone knows what happened and how to deal with it, please let me know. Bristol_Jonesey Posted yesterday at 04:17 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:17 PM Sounds like latency to me. Just as an experiment, temporarily bypass all your Fx from the Control Bar and see what it's like 1

reginaldStjohn
I have had this issue happen to me from time to time. I never found a fix. Seemed to me that Cakewalk was just in a state where the keyboard input was getting delayed. If you create a new project does it happen in that one? John Vere
I remember having this issue too. And there was a reason but sorry I can’t remember what it was. I think it was a setting that got changed by a keyboard shortcut? It wasn’t a plug in. Because it was global to even empty projects I do remember making a screen capture of it and submitting it to support. But I can’t remember if they solved the problem. It was probable scook who helped Edited 2 hours ago by John Vere
David Baay
Plugins with large lookahead buffers can cause this.
