Dazzla
Ok guys and gals, I've gotten back to recording after a bit of a hiatus. The song is one of my favorite Polish rock tunes, Raz Po Raz by Perfect. I'm looking for feedback on everything from quality of the production to instrument and vocal technique. Polish speakers, please excuse the pronunciation of the words. I am not a native Polish speaker and just started leaning. Here's a link to the original so you can compare and contrast: https://youtu.be/eZKErNyPHyg?si=FgwA58ogGGq7sTbB My version is here: https://www.bandlab.com/post/f98c94a5-2518-f011-aaa7-0022484892d6 Edited April 14 by Dazzla
treesha
Always nice to be introduced to something new. Long ago I got into Polish reggae. With the original being shown as 14 years old, and your version being stripped down of course they are very different. The intro where many parts are playing sounds kind of muddy, and the cymbal at times stands out to me too much especially about 2:30. Your vocal are out of tune here and there but aren’t we all. I am totally dependent on melodyne for mine. When you are ending, I think the timing is off a little. Overall I think you have a good start in your version and you can make it even better.
