Codefreq
Hi, I'm trying to activate any of the Cakewalk products (Sonar, Next, Cakewalk Product Center) but the past few days I have been unable to do so. Whereas I can log in to my Bandlab account via Google Chrome without any problems, trying to do so in order to activate any of the aforementioned products for some reason is something I'm unable to do. Trying to activate any of the products by going into the respective app and selecting whatever equivalent of "Sign into Bandlab to activate" takes me directly to a Bandlab login page, also in Google Chrome. After I log in with the same information I used when logging in regularly, I get this error: "Page not found; A broken link must have lead you here. Go back to the previous page and try again." I have already activated Cakewalk Sonar on two computers and Cakewalk Next on one computer, and I'm only using one at a time (and at most, two). I have yet to use even one install of Cakewalk Product Center but that still gives me the same trouble. I'm primarily a Cakewalk By Bandlab\Cakewalk Sonar user and am not in a position to use anything else for my projects, so this activation error is a serious problem for me. Can someone please help me solve this problem? Edited April 13 by Codefreq Fact correction

Hill62
I’m having the same issue, with all browsers. The MFA is the issue. I’m an IT professional and I’ve done substantial troubleshooting on my PC to try to get this resolved. I got the same error on my phone logging into the forums, somehow it still logged me in but I got the page not found. I’ll try contacting support again. Adding pain to the issue is the only MFA option is email. An app or phone option would potentially help alleviate this. It would certainly be more convenient at the least. Hopefully enough have this page not found issue to get more help towards resolution. Edited Friday at 03:17 PM by Hill62

So, close all browsers, then fire up CbB or Sonar, which ever, and once open go to the Help menu. If it says you’re not logged in, then do so from the Help menu option. if it says you have the option to log out, do so. Close the app, then re-open it and use Help/Login etc. It should work. If not, then its an e-mail to support. J
Codefreq
UPDATE: I got it working! After a few days of back-and-forth email with support, I was able to get it working by signing in through my Google account. Bizarre how the default 2-factor code method didn't work. I'm hoping this bug gets solved ASAP, I don't want to have to rely on using my Google account to activate Cakewalk-related products.
