DeeringAmps
Check it out here under $60 after $2.07 in BestCoin. Ends tonight at midnight (somewhere). Just installed, so I haven't had a chance to run it thru it's paces; but the demos sound pretty good! UPDATE! I have run the software OFFLINE, here are the Requirements from the Bestservice website: So there you are children, so far so good, I have not been required to be online to use the software. Only to download (oh my god!) and activate (never have I had to that before) REALLY? pull your panties out of the wad... t Edited Sunday at 11:30 PM by DeeringAmps
reginaldStjohn
Let us know what you think of it. Do you have to pay for additional voices or can you use all the ones that are included for free. Saw a youtube video where he mentioned something about "credits" for voices.
DeeringAmps
This is the full license. The verbiage says 28 “voices”, but 50 were downloaded. You can purchase “tokens” from SonarWorks and “pay as you go”. Evidently there is a “timer” that keeps track of usage, IF you choose that option. But again, this is the full license and the is no “limit” so to speak. I’ll post a link to their website, take a look at that and it should make better sense… t
ZincT
There were a few deals on this in February, and I created this thread on VI-Control about it. It includes some videos and examples posted by people so might be of use to some folk. This is the perpetual license which gives you unlimited local processing using your CPU to create the voices. You do still need to be online though to validate your license. I tried the 7 day demo myself and got some decent results, but at the time I decided to just stick with Synthesizer V (now version 2) for my needs. I also tried using a Synth V voice as input which worked pretty well. Anyone who is wondering, you can download a 7 day trial from https://www.sonarworks.com/soundid-produce/voiceai Edited Sunday at 08:23 AM by ZincT Correction re the need to be online
GTsongwriter
SoundID VoiceAI requires you be online the entire time to use it and there's no offline mode. So, nope. I only buy plugins that doesn't require to be always online, cause you know one day they might not exist anymore and you'll be stuck with a plugin that no longer works.

Or you happen to be working on some time-critical project and your internet provider happens to go down...or something between you and them gets DDOSed and no connection can be made to their servers thru no fault of either of you. Still keeps you from doing your work (and if it's a paid thing, could lose you a client).

Thanks for the clarification. I checked and found the details on their website. While the processing is done locally, there is still an online license check carried out which requires an internet connection. I also corrected my statement above. I'm back on the fence about it now. Hmmm. Here's the detail I found on their website... Quote Perpetual license (unlimited local processing) With a SoundID VoiceAI Perpetual license, you will own access to our current database, with expansion in the future. It is possible to access all main voices and instruments locally. While actual processing is happening offline, an internet connection is still required for the license to be recognized and for downloading/updating the database. Processing happens with CPU/GPU, so there is no need for cloud-based processing. The perpetual license operates with offline processing. A sizeable (~4GB) database with presets can be downloaded with our Download Manager. An internet connection is still required to use the software, but actual processing is done locally and offline.
