Tony Shaffer
FWIW, a way to set up a faux zero measure, handy if you use charts with numbered measures. 1. Change the meter at Cakewalk measure 1 to double the number of beats per bar (e.g. replace 4/4 with 8/4) 2. Change the meter at Cakewalk measure 2 back to 4/4. 3. Put in a marker at Cakewalk measure 1 and label it "ZERO" (I like this because it catches my attention as a reminder). 4. On the fifth beat of the first (8-beat) measure put in a marker and label it "1." That is now my new Measure 1. 2 2

minminmusic
We REALLY should have this built in as a "pre-roll". Should be able to choose how many bars of pre-roll you want, have it be viewable/expandable as needed and finally with the ability to have audio playback in that "pre-roll" zone (if needed) to get a feel going before bar 1. 1
Tony Shaffer
minminmusic, I absolutely agree. I've posted pre-roll measures as a feature request a bunch of times, no joy, finally gave up on it. BTW, with this "faux" method, I can add more beats and markers to the first measure to create more "pre-roll" (up to 99 beats).
