This came out of nowhere ... a pricing glich maybe?

Nope... they've been doing freebies on occasion for a while now.  First was to get everyone sucked in the reverb only to release a paid upgrade a little while later.  But they did Finisher Neo in January.  I haven't installed any of the UJAM stuff yet since I have so much other stuff.

Right!

The reason I'm  surprised about this one is that it's a 'pro' product without an obvious 'hook' that starts folks off with a 'lite' version so that they'll pay to upgrade to the 'pro' version.

Maybe this is just a "Hey pay some attention to us!" in the ridiculously crowded world of music software.

It gets you on the mailing list  and potentially draws you to other similar "pro" products in their guitar line

It's an interesting plugin but I'll have to spend a lot more time with it before I know how useful it will be for me. Block chords? Arpeggios? Mixed block chords and arpeggios? Single notes? It seems to react differently to all those, but it does have interesting sounds and a nice GUI so it's just a matter of putting in the work so I'll know what it's going to do before it does it.

No good. I have took this sparkle 2 plugin but in the meantime I've updated my fin-micro vst. After several crashes decide to delete it manually and gave a new path to the new installed vst. Effect: all my music with fin-micro decide not to remember what parameters was used and what amount. Really nice ujam... really @#$%! nice. It's time to go.
