Exclusive V Collection offer for loyal users

$99 to upgrade from v9 to vX (at least for me).

That's for 4 new instruments - MiniFreak V, Acid V and CP-70 V and Augmented Grand Piano (which I already have)
and 2 rebuilt instruments (their terminology) Mini V 4, and Wurli V 3.
+ 3 expansion packs.

Still - will need to think this over. At the moment I am overloaded with virtual instruments and probably should be thinking about shedding what I don't & won't be using instead of collecting more.

Not for me though.
I have X and for me it shows $199. That's why I thought the price of $99 might be a typo.

That would be a price for a second license which is fine if you have 10 machines.

Oops, yes it was the UPGRADE price - 1st post corrected.

For me that's from V Collection 8 to X. Same offer they did before. Tempted again...

I also just noticed it says "Last Chance Offer" - does that mean V11 (or maybe XI) is imminent?

V Collection 5 was 19 May 2016
V Collection 6 was 5 December 2017
V Collection 7 was 25 April 2019
V Collection 8 was 8 December 2020
V Collection 9 was 11 May 2022
V Collection X was 12 December 2023
So, V Collection XI will probably be April-May 2025

Thanks @Fleer

I'm just looking at what I would get if I upgrade from version 8. As far as I can find out, just looking at soft instruments (not expansions/preset packs)....

New for VC9 was:

Augmented STRINGS
Augmented VOICES
CS-80 V4
Korg MS-20
Piano V3
Prophet-5 V
Prophet-VS V
SQ80 V

New for VCX was:

MiniFreak V
Acid V
CP-70 V
Augmented GRAND PIANO
Augmented BRASS
Augmented WOODWINDS
Rebuilt:
Mini V 4
Wurli V 3

Although I already have CS-80 V4 (can't recall how I go this - maybe a freebie?).

Still, a pretty good deal for $99 (plus the preset packs/expansions included).

For $99 that looks like a pretty nice upgrade deal.

Looks like Augmented Yangtze is the only new instrument not currently included in Collection V X.
Usually there's a number of new instruments that have dropped before they announce a version update, so wondering if Collection V XI is really going to drop this year.

It is good for what you get, but in all honesty, despite owning v9 since it's release I still go to their standout Pigments, and it's not even in the collection.

The collection is great, no doubt, but it somewhat feels like i'm dipping in and out of the same pot and don't really feel that each plugin has it's own flavour or provides me much inspiration.

I may be suffering with preset paralysis when I use it though, as it's an overwhelming amount of instruments and presets when combined, I just find pigments so much easier to bond with and focus on.

Agreed Pigments is pretty unbeatable and has had so many free updates over the years. It also has an excellent sequencer and arpeggiator.

Preset paralysis is a major problem. I like to start in Unify and use it's dice to come up with ideas (currently 77,508 presets to choose from).

I picked up VC7 cheaply second hand and my price is also €99.
I passed last time but it is tempting me again.
But yesterday I found a retailer having a clear-out of old stock and ordered an upgrade from Komplete 13 Standard to CE for £100. A major retailer and it's a sealed box with HDD so there shouldn't be an issue. They only had one though.

So I will wait for VC11 and get Augmented Yangtze and Diminished Trombones with it. :)

Odd. I got it for free because I had X or did I pay for it?

That's actually a nice one to have.
