Mouse selector Stucked in Audiosnap edit mode

Hi,

I use cakewalk since the 90s

I have an issue with Audiosnap I use to manually align tracks together mostly.

Audiosnap works very well and is easy to understand, but when I convert my clip to audio, the mouse is still in Audiosnap editing mode when I select the clip (see attached picture)

How can I turn off this selection option and get off the "grey" mode for the clips.

Activating / Deactivating audiosanp does not work, I searched many forums and read the doc but I never found the solution.

Not sure but did you bounce to clips?

I would guess the Edit Filter of the lane is still set to 'Audio Transients'. The beveled corner on the clip shows it hasn't been bounced.
