bats brew Posted March 15 Posted March 15 https://batsbrew.bandcamp.com/track/silverstone-2025 well the new F1 season has started, and i decided to update mixes of my 'F1 Trilogy', the first of three, with the song 'Silverstone', which is the about the british grand prix. this is a completely new mix from scratch. i'm trying to create imagery of intense high speed car racing with the mix. tell me i did ok!! LOL 3
bats brew Posted March 19 Author Posted March 19 trying to channel that racing energy... if you know about silverstone, especially the really WET one they had a few years back, there is a lot of stop and go, so that's in there too!

It def works as racing music. Although I call that "surfing montage music". But it would work well for both. Cool lead guitar tone btw. It has a nice, rich high-end pick attack. It sounds like a real, mic'd up amp to me. Im curious, what did u play thru for the solos?

Interesting, Blackfoot, I'm from Jacksonville originally. And knew a lot of those southern rockers, so yea. Maybe there's some influence in there@ I was a bit skynrd fan too... Thanks for listening
