badt1mes
Seems like a simple question. I would like to run a DAW computer offline, no internet, anti virus, firewall, etc. Is this possible with ANY of the current Cakewalk products? Or will I always need to have my machine connected? Noel Borthwick
You can run all our products offline. They however require to be occasionally activated which requires an internet connection. We also have an offline activation procedure to facilitate this.
gustabo
I run Sonar offline and can attest that it works well offline and that the offline authorization procedure works well.

Ashwin Rao
If you're using Cakewalk by BandLab, offline activation is possible via the Cakewalk Product Center - https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/900006210046-Activating-Cakewalk-by-BandLab
