I forgot about this song till recently - I really liked it when it was out, but then I like most Paul Simon songs.  He has an emotive voice and I hope I captured some of that feeling.

Brings back a memory of a super religious family member back in the 70s who hated the song because of the lyrics.

Very well done cover, Steve.  Really like the Incan (?) flute especially.

Hi!  Thanks.  Yeah - I'm not that steady on guitar for this type of thing so I had a little help with a matching synth.  Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Steve, I don't recall hearing this one before, not one of Paul Simon's big radio hits I might recall. You've done an excellent job here, and I can certainly hear the "Paul Simon" flavour when listening, throughout this whole piece. Right away, those flutes reminded me of "I'd rather be a hammer than a nail" (I never remembered "El Condor Pasa" was the song title), it was no doubt written in that same era . . . oops, google says 55 years ago, can that be correct ?, maybe I heard it in a previous lifetime 

Also, another great sounding recording from your studio ! Good work, good listen.

Hi bruce - thanks very much!  I had forgotton about El Condor Pasa, which is another great song.  I listened to a bunch of Paul Simon songs chosen by Spotify.  Some I have never heard - he has quite a catalog!
