I think I got it for $29 on some special deal a year or so ago. It is good with lots of options. Though, I think there are lots of good EQ's out there so not a must have if you already have some good alternatives (Fabfilter, Hornet, Melda, Sonible etc.)

It has only hit that price with Forever $29.  Which hasn't been offered for new signups in TWO YEARS!

Always excluded from the really deep discounts.

Hornet is not a viable alternative here.  Fabfilter and Melda would be.  Sonible is good but my experience with the ones I have is too much CPU for a do it all workhorse.

I have Sonible Smart EQ4, iZotope Mix and Master Bundle, HorNet Total EQ, Waves Audio F6,

what does it offer that these don't have?

Lower CPU usage is the only thing that comes to mind when compared to something like the Mix and Master bundle or Smart EQ4.   Yes, you could also get into some eccentric differences with the crazy number of curves, bands and options in combo with the dynamic EQ - but practically for most people, I don't think the core of what it does is materially different.

I have found it sounds better in an A/B test than other EQs using extreme adjustments, but honestly negligible for any normal use/testing/ears.

Maybe I bought it off KVR or something. I don't remember. Just remember not buying it until I found it lower then $30.  Definitely is worth it at that price.

NOT: This is how I got it at that price.

Overall, would I regret not buying it?

Cause, iZotope had a sell for RX 11 Standard upgrade for $99 back in December, a month later I regret not getting it and within a couple of weeks they have another sell, but not as good... For $119.  If I would have gotten it in December, I would have saved $20.

The music rebalance is actually worth the upgrade is what I figured out.

I have all those EQs you mentioned, apart from the Waves one.. I don't think I have that..  and I have Smart EQ 3, not 4.

You definitely don't need it, but I do prefer it to all the ones you mentioned.  I quite like Smart EQ, but it's heavier on CPU.

I also have tended to prefer the sound of Kirchhoff over ProQ3. So many people say that's impossible, but to my ears, something makes it sound better to me.. not sure if it's the way they handle transients, or phase, or something..

In terms of missing out, generally with PA once they hit a price, it will normally hit that low again.

But..  I think I'd wait and see if someone has a spare voucher or something to get it down lower. With everything you have, at $60 I could easily pass over it these days, but I'm like that with a lot of plugins.

As of this moment what is listed comes out to about the same with fee.  I will keep looking

I forgot how expensive their transfer fee is. I used to pay the fee with their coupons that they were so generous with in the past. But those times are over, I guess 😢

32 Filter Types Modeled from Historic Vintage EQs!

Get vintage and modern at same time! We modeled 9 vintage EQ hardware units as a total of 32 EQ types implemented in Kirchhoff-EQ. Benefit from Robust Nyquist-Matched Transform, every EQ type precisely matches the original hardware and won't cramp near Nyquist frequency. For a further step, unlike the original hardware that only allows to choose between several frequency positions, we modified the DSP model to make adjustable frequency points for all these types! Every type in these models can be used together with regular EQ types or other modeled types, and can be applied with dynamic functions (except lowpass and highpass types). This brings you more freedom and convenient operations.

* No non-linear behaviors were modeled. All vintage filter types only contain ideal linear parts of their physical model.

I'd let my forever $29 voucher go for as low as $40 USD.  That would make it $41.

There is no transfer fee with a voucher buying the plugin from someone would have the $20 transfer fee.
