midist Posted yesterday at 04:35 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:35 PM I'm still using Sonar X3, and I've been working on a lot of music with Cakewalk Sonar for a long time now. There are three things that bother me. 1) The fact that the control data keeps getting stuck on the mouse pointer when using the smart tool is driving me crazy. I hope this new version will stop the sticking when holding down the Alt key like in Cubase. 2) Also, I don't understand why the control data should be affected by 'Snap On'. Control data doesn't need to be aligned to the beat grid like notes. 3) The new version doesn't allow you to blur the color of the beat grid in the piano roll view.
