Installing on multiple machines in a school

I have been in contact with support about using one account to activate multiple machines in a music lab in school.  The response was "You can try setting up a single BandLab Membership account in the name of the school and use it to activate Sonar on multiple computers. While we can’t guarantee this will work across multiple installations,"

So my question is, has anyone tried this?  Does it have any issues? Are we not allowed to do this even though the official support line has said we can?

I don't think there's anything physically built in to the software to stop you from trying

Never occurred to me but it seems like the only activation process is simply logging into your account. It would seem it is not keeping track of computer ID information. 
I could go to a friends house install Sonar and log in. Why not. 
Cakewalk has a history of always allowing as many installs as you need. I used to have it on at least 5 machines. The agreement is Im the only person who can legally use the software. 
They most certainly would seem to be willing to waive that requirement for Education purposes. Why not? New users that might go home and create their own accounts.
