Milton Sica
I am using the latest version of Cdb available. From this version onwards I noticed that, when opening any project, the application stops at the message "ALMOST DONE" and only continues its internal processes until the GUI and project are opened if I turn off my interface and turn it back on. Any tips?

I do not think this is a Cakewalk issue per se. Something else must be causing this. My guess is a plugin. Have you tried opening a project in safe mode to see if the problem persists after bypassing all plugins. If bypassing all plugins allows your projects to open, then it’s a process of elimination to determine which one.

mettelus
+1 to the above, if you have Windows set to giving exclusive control to your device, or use your interface as default audio output, the first app that uses it it will lock sample rate on you. Check if you have other apps that are running before you are open CbB that might be using the interface. Disabling exclusive mode in Windows Sound Settings could help (also check the settings versus your project you are opening there), but I have gone so far as to have RealTek as my default sound device, so no app other than ones I specify will try to use the audio interface. Milton Sica
Thank you all for your help. I have some information to share. 1 - Tascam US-600 interface 2 - It is only used by Cakewalk. Other applications use another interface. Other details: The error only occurs when Cakewalk first accesses the first project I am going to work on. If I keep Cakewalk running, close the first project and open a second project, this does not happen.
Promidi
And can it be assumed that in the audio configuration of all of those “Other applications“ that use another interface, the sample rate, bit depth and buffer size are all the same (even windows itself)? I am also assuming you have Driver version V1.03rc1 installed (dated 2016) I know this is a long shot, but is there any possibility of trying another audio interface? Everything is fine, except for acquiring a new interface now.

Milton Sica
Guys, to add something to these symptoms of the latest version of Cakewalk. I have installed the latest versions of SONAR in order to monitor its sedimentation and minimum bugs. When opening the Cakewalk project in SONAR I had no problems with the need to turn my interface off and on.
