Too bad there isn't a reverse-lookup feature for airtags. Yeah, I would go that route, especially since that is mostly likely not a off-off scenario (they did it before and/or intend to do it again) and was very much intentional. I had a coworker who had a "friend" that kept showing up where she was. She said her phone was getting hot, and turned out this friend had enabled "friend tracking" or some such on Facebook when she had walked away from her phone (while this person was at her house visiting). She didn't want to follow up with an investigation (people are so weird when they are victims of crimes), but that incident shouldn't just be ignored.
