AlexFreedom Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Missed the first time, been checking regularly on PB since hoping the deal would eventually come up again & today, after waiting for 2-3 months, it's finally back🙏 (No idea for how long though) I just remain a bit confused as to why it's randomly being discounted. Like the previous time, no announcement, no email despite having it on wishlist, not appearing when sorting the 'Deal' section on PB, not seeing it on popular lists like AudioPluginGuy, etc. 🤔 Either way, having gotten some good deals in the past thanks to this community, I'm glad to be able to give something back! Insight 2 is actually a slick utility app with multiple ways of setting up and visually analyzing audio. The regular $199 is way steep for such an app (and it is often bundled with things that cost less), but this price is much more reasonable. Edited January 16 by mettelus 1

The price isn't bad, but I thought it's been in some of the cheap bundles where you get quite a few of things with it for not much more money from memory. Not a bad product and if you need something now, it might still be worth it. 1

It, or something like it, is essential if you're mastering for streaming or just want consistency between projects. I use this on every project. I did not pay $199 for it, though, and probably wouldn't have ever discovered its value had it not come bundled with Ozone Advanced. 2
CSistine Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Many years ago I paid 95 EUR for the previous version! So yes, this is a really good deal. IMHO it is mandatory to have a tool like this even for mixing and Insight is one of the better ones! 1

I am basically using TR5 metering, bx_meter, and the fruity db meter. But I started getting more interested in level metering after some postcasts and wonder I need something more advanced.

If you own other iZotope plugins, the biggest advantage is being able to use instances of iZotope's Relay to feed specific instances of Insight 2 when working at a buss or project level. Their overview video walks through a good portion of what Insight can do.
