Andres Medina Posted January 3 Posted January 3 (edited) Hello, Recently I've found that the mouse pointers in PRv are behaving differently in the Controllers Pane. The Freehand Tool no longer shows a pencil, but the regular arrow of the selecting tool. The Line Tool displays an empty rectangle at the right side of the pointer Is this expected behavior? Thanks! David Baay Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Freehand and line tools appear as usual here. Not sure what might be going on in your case - maybe a missing/bad library file. Any installation warnings related to replacing files? I seem to recall it being mentioned that pointers were still raster images, and I'm not sure that's changed.
Andres Medina Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 Thanks both of you! I'll double check, and possibly reinstall Sonar.
Andres Medina Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 ... but still I have issues with the pointers in the Tempo View: Freehand Tool displays an arrow pointer (and Sonar creates an empty rectangle on the right) Line Tool creates an empty rectangle on the right Is this happening on your system as well? Thanks!
David Baay Posted January 5 Posted January 5 (edited) That rectangle should be displaying the tempo at the pointer position like "Tempo: 67 bpm". EDIT: Likewise the rectangle in the controller pane should be showing the controller level at the pointer. The one issue I'm seeing is that the controller level, timestamp and event counter do not update continuously as the pointer moves; it continues to show the level, time and count of at which you first clicked which seems like a bug. In the tempo view, the value updates continuously as expected. Edited January 5 by David Baay 1
