Midi notes recording 2 octaves higher than I'm playing??

Hello all:

  So, I've got this weird behavior happening...I hit C2 on my keyboard and Sonar records C4....C3 becomes C5...I double checked in Cubase and C2 is C2...any ideas what's going on?

Might help to change your bass octave
