Michael Docy
Note: This is the previous version of SF. This is one version behind the current SF Pro 18. Also Note: This is not the Suite version. It does not include Spectral Layers or any of the other extras that the SF Pro Suite includes. Nonetheless, if you just want to have a newer version of SF, this is a good price, $30.00. I have been running SF13 so I grabbed this. This is a good update for me. I use SF Pro for mastering. https://www.humblebundle.com/software/vegas-pro-2024-software?hmb_source=humble_home&hmb_medium=takeover&hmb_campaign=vegasprodec24 Edited Tuesday at 01:28 AM by Michael Docy

Michael Docy
Zo, If I understand your question correctly, the serial number you will receive from Humble is tied to SF Pro 17. It will only register as SF Pro 17. After you register they will send you an offer to upgrade to SF Pro 18 for $79.99.

Max Arwood
Looks like good news to me. They’re still going to have Vegas and they’ll focus more on it and dump all those other miscellaneous versions that they used to have.

BTW that Movie Studio is underrated I haven't sued Movie Studio but have been under the impression it is the stripped down less feature version of Video Pro X (which I prefer to Vegas), which probably means it is good enough for most users that want to put a video together. I have SF Pro 11 and my upgrade price to SF Pro 18 is $79.99 https://www.magix.com/us/music-editing/sound-forge/sound-forge-pro/ Available until December 29, 2024 No need to get SFP17 if you have an older version and plan on upgrading to SFP18. I don't need 18 so I might just jump on this deal to get a more current version.

There was at least one discussion of this in the forum back in March with some discussion of memories / experiences, possible alternatives, etc. that might be of interest to fans of the software. kitekrazy Posted yesterday at 04:35 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:35 PM I still support them despite rarely using their stuff. Their weakness is in marketing on how to use their products. If you ever noticed most of the popular software there is no shortage of knowledge on how to use them. We live in an age where few read a manual anymore.

I use Vegas Pro Suite 22, which just released in the fall, and it's a nice upgrade on their previous versions -- a lot more stable than previous versions of Vegas (at least, on my machine, anyway), and I've always found the Vegas interface to be really intuitive. I'm hoping this signals that they're making a go of it after their restructuring. I think it's a good product, and you don't have to subscribe to their Vegas 365 service. You can just buy it outright, which I much prefer. Edited yesterday at 06:50 PM by Amicus717
