Happens when Performance Module set to System Performance or Overall App Performance.

Apparently wiggling mouse uses more resources than 40 track project in motion.

the HUI components like keyboard and mouse will generally always have higher priority on interupts. hence the "spikes". otherwise, it would make working the apps pretty difficult under higher loads😉. what happens if you wiggle your mouse while the project is playing? 🙂

I still use a hardwired mouse and keyboard as I find wireless sets are less responsive. Mind you that was 10 years ago.

FWIW, I don't see that here with a wireless Logitech mouse using its proprietary dongle. Maybe depends what you're hovering over in the TV...?

Othewise could totally be hardware/firmware/driver-specifiic.
