AndyB01 Posted December 14 Share Posted December 14 The answer rather depends to whom and how you choose to distribute your files. Many special characters can be incorrectly parsed by browsers, so as a general rule I would say that if sharing content online, special characters are best avoided. That said - for local and personal file storage - you'll encounter fewer problems if you include them as part of your chosen file naming convention but it's still considered bad practice to use them.
