Woodsglen Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Does anyone have a "working link" or an "ins file" for the definition file for the Roland RD-700gx. Everything I've found for the links are either non-existent, or lost in web re-design. Ditto on the Yamaha MOX thanks! Wayne
0 scook Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 FWIW, the master.ins containing the instrument definitions is stored in the user directory. This directory is version specific but it is possible to copy the file from one user directory to another. The master.ins for X3 is in %appdata%\Cakewalk\SONAR X3 Producer (or whatever flavor of X3 is installed) Copy the master.ins from the X3 folder to %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core If there is some reason to preserve the master.ins in %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core rename it before copying the one from X3.
0 Woodsglen Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 Strange... I have ins files for the RD-700 and my MOX when I load Sonar X3, as well as my proteus 2000 yet I can't specifically find them looking through various folders. any suggestions?
0 Woodsglen Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 GOT EM! originals were still in a directory i keep for everything I download! So, if anyone has a need for these ... LMK. Wayne
0 user905133 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 They seem to be in the Roland.ins file. [RD-700GX GM2 Capital] [RD-700GX BRASS/WINDS] etc.
