mfkne Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Hi, when will be ARA be integrated into NEXT? Does anyone know? While offering a Podcast preset, the software should have this feature, as ARA can handle things a lot better/faster when working with long dialogue parts. Also for music purposes it would absolutely make sense. Having that feature, it would be absolutely perfect for me then. 2
Bass Guitar Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 (edited) It funny this just came up in the other new thread today. So I won't repeat what I said already. But YES PLEASE! Add ARA! it's a PITA to have to continually work in the Stand alone editor for Melodyne. Simple things like Audio to Midi are missing. Here's my wish list: ARA support Mixer View - Next is alone in this glaring omission. And please allow that you can undock these and the midi editor while your at it. Next is the only Daw I use that can't use 2 monitors. Then please add db readings to the meters? A favorites list for adding plug ins. Most Daw's have this. Midi output option on instrument tracks for hardware support. Edited December 10, 2024 by Bass Guitar 2
Guest Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Seems the developers have totally lost interest in this?

It's been a while since our last update, but development is in full stride in order to support some critical, bigger feature releases throughout 2025. Look for an interim release within a week. 1 hour ago, Mark Morgon-Shaw said: I'm not really sure who it's aimed at ? Less experience and familiarity is required to get up and running than with a traditional DAW. For more experienced users, it's just another way to create. We built project interchange with .cxf to make it easy to move between the Next and Sonar, as an ecosystem perk. Many new CbB and Sonar users who discover Next prefer its simpler UI, so we felt strongly about supporting project migration into Next too. 2

I do remote sessions with singers for my production music songs and we've found the easiest way is via the Bandlab App on Desktop

Noel Borthwick Posted January 1 Posted January 1 ARA will make it into Next at some point but we can’t give you a timeline. There are some more pressing features that have more general use that are needed prior to that. 1
mfkne Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 I surely would use Sonar as it has more features, but it´s Win only. I am Mac User....
