@kennywtelejazz  Did you meet him in New York?

When I lived in New York the amount of known musicians  /people  I met was staggering .I miss those days for sure .

As far as your question No . I have not meet Skunk Baxter Yet I did meet Walter Becker one time when I sold him some effects pedals .

I did meet and hung out with Elliot Randal in and out of the studio a few times .In addition to that I went over to his apt I was with a friend to sell him the Tele style Red Vulcan Guitar he played often ...

While there , and while playing the rosewood Strat with a neck Hum-bucking pick up  he played on The Reeling in The years solo I made the mistake of telling him how much I preferred the Maple Neck on my 58 Strat .....and It went all down hill from that point on...me and my big mouth ...

The straw that broke the camels back is when we jammed ...I backed him up great and he was digging it the thing is I had a wild hair growing out of my A$Z and I went all Wild West The fastest guitar in town on him as a guest in his own house .

....Once I went there it was only a matter of time before he stood up and started yelling at me to get the eff out of his house while screaming  I'm not gonna put up with this ...he threw me out ...after that day for a long while my phone didn't ring 😉
