Lummy Keen Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 Hi all, Any thoughts? Your input is much appreciated. Thank you
garybrun Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Hi Lummy. You have a nice voice mate. I would say it was a sad song. 🙂 I wouldn't know were to put its genre..
bjornpdx Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Nicely done. Great voice. The song is sad because of the lyrics but I wouldn't have thought so if I just heard the music. IDK maybe it needs more minor chords or something. Not sure about the genre. Could be country if you had more of a country voice. -Bjorn
treesha Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 1. What genre does this song belong to? Is it indie rock? soft rock? singer/songwriter? Not sure but rock of some type. I think its more produced than singer songwriter. But Im not good with genres! 2. What is the mood/vibe of this song? is it sad? Its sad in the way that some 50s 60s love songs are sad. Sad in lyrics but not so much sad in the music itself. Kind cute sad that way. I like your voice and playing. Good song and nice mix although the lowest low notes are a bit distorted or just louder than the rest of the low notes.
Wookiee Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Would you be offended by slow soft pop rock. However Genres are important to bean counters it is not you. Lots of reverb but that appears to be back in vogue again, Mix kinda works here, I just find it a little swimming in reverb like you are in a massive cavern.
