Making one track faster

Hi im new to audio production and cakewalk in general so please dont laugh at me for not knowing

i want to speed up a particular midi  track of mine but not the bpm of the entire song, any idea how i can do that?

you can freeze the track and then on the clip hold [ctrl+shift] key and drag the end of the clip (left or right)to your 'taste' speed..

I don't think you need to freeze the track... if you select all the MIDI notes you can use the Ctrl-Drag on the end of the clip to scale all the notes. I've done this for short phrases, never an entire track! But it might work.
