Bandlab support?

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I downloaded Sonar and wanted to work with it for the three demo days to try it out, but although I signed in, Sonar wasn't activated, so I couldn't save any work.

I submitted a query to Bandlab support last Friday evening. It is now been 3 weekdays (in Australia) since then, and I haven't heard from Bandlab yet.

I'm seriously considering buying a membership with Bandlab, but I'm just a little concerned about their support.

I don’t think the trial includes saving.  I could be wrong but I would think that is how Cakewalk Sonar works.

Yes, you will need to have a Bandlab membership in order to save in Sonar.

Kind regards,

tecknot

What aspect of a company that supported a product for 6 years free of charge concerns you?

Very few trials have all functionality available, saving is frequently one that isn't.

I think the type of support your comment refers to is a different type of support than what the OP was referring to:

How? What kind of support do you think he was referring to and the kind I was referring to?

Does Sonar also have an installer for its documentation like Cakewalk? I notices that Sonar's Help link take me to the Web.

There's a thread here somewhere, recently posted to, with a pdf file.

Thank you, I will try that. Something else -- Does Sonar also have an installer for its documentation like Cakewalk? I notices that Sonar's Help link take me to the Web.

You have the option under help to install the reference guide.

There is a link in this forum which I have on my desktop.

Not check recently but the Cakewalk Software Centre used to install Cakewalk stuff probably has a link too.

I see no such option under Help -- the closest I get is "Documentation". There is a link to the Cakewalk documentation in Pdf, but so far I cannot see anything similar for Sonar.

Well that's another word for the reference guide, because the reference guide is a document. Many organisations refer to useful information in written format as documents.
