Keith Wilby
Hi all, In 1984, or thereabouts, an old school pal came to my house and I recorded him playing some of his songs with acoustic guitar. Those recordings were pretty much forgotten about until I rediscovered them a few days ago. This is one of those songs/recordings with a new backing by me. I think it's a great song, simple but extremely melodic and effective, plus a sterling vocal performance by my friend Jon on what was, essentially, a demo. Used with his permission. Edit: comments on the arrangement and production welcomed. https://www.bandlab.com/revisions/ecf27414-b49a-ef11-8474-6045bd375453?sharedKey=I8JjT4_N_02mgrZJcqvQtw Edited Tuesday at 12:16 PM by Keith Wilby

AndyB01
Reminds me of some of the stuff I wrote and collaborated on back in the Eighties - all that teenage angst. 😂 Life was so much simpler back then. Took me right back - great job! Andy
bjornpdx Posted yesterday at 07:19 AM Share Posted yesterday at 07:19 AM Very nice. I like that the melody sticks with you after the song is over. I like the accompaniment too and the strings coming in just where they should. -Bjorn

Wookiee Posted yesterday at 02:10 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:10 PM Nice clean mix, well placed and balanced, vocal clear and present but in the mix. Good job. 1
