sonar not loading massive or reaktor

hii all..

CBB will load Native instruments massive and reaktor 

But sonar wont

says plugin failed to load  (8000ffff)... the path quoted in the error message

does indeed contain the correct DLL

other stuff from NI loads ok Kontakt etc

anyone help

OK so i thought it might be a VST 2 vs VST3 issue

so i unhid my VST 2 versions and now when

 calling up Massive VST2  Sonar just shuts down.

Like i said works perfect in CBB

Ok worked it out.

It was WIN 11 Security..

I have folder protection ON so i had to tell it to let Sonar thru

and now those VSTi instruments work.

However another synth i wanted to use..FL Studio Sytrus

does not work with a different  crash code  CFFFFFFF (application Hang)

I have attached the minidump

I have tried everything related to security issues but this one doesnt seem to be related to that.

Funnily enough other VSTi s from FL studio work fine

and it also works perfectly in CBB..

so  there you go..

So digging deeper i have discovered i can 

load Il Sytrus from insert soft synth and succesfully trigger 

a sound via midi but 

as soon as i try to open the Sytrus UI it crashs

so im thinking it has something to do with

the new Sonar vector graphics..or some sort of graphic acceleration?

Does anyone know what i can start investigating along

those lines...thanks

Yep just turned off DPI Awareness in Preferences/Display

and it works  but of course it looks just like CBB

Is there a way for Sytrus to ignore DPI settings...i cant open the UI to change anything

it immediately crashes

Can you send the crash dump so we can check if it's a plug-in crash?

I just tried loading Sytrus and opening the UI and it works fine for me.  So I don't think it's a global problem with Sytrus.

Ok Steve thats weird coz if i turn of DPI Awareness it shows up and runs correctly  maybe Noel can shed more light on the issue?

@Bassfaceus Your dump file is for a hang and isn't from the latest release of Sonar. Also it contains no info that shows Sonar code hanging.
I suggest updating to the latest Sonar release and retesting this there.
