kitekrazy1 Posted September 3 Share Posted September 3 Performances have always been the money maker. There's a lot of hype over DAW packages about music distribution ect. It's kind of overrated. My brother use to be a DJ and never used a DAW or played an instrument. He use to make $800 doing a reception or graduation. His job was taking requests. Live performances are always valued. That's how many famous artists got discovered. Oasis never appealed to me. I guess I don't get the hype. After covid I value live performances even by amateurs. I never understood the Ticketmaster service fee which was pricey either. I couldn't image the price if the Beatles decided to do a tour when they were all alive. Maybe $10K a ticket?
