ooh thanks - I think this may be the documentary that was shown on Sky Arts but I missed and (almost uniquely for Sky Arts) it isn't in their roster of repeats! 

I've just been reading Richard Thompson's memoir of the times with Fairport through to shortly before the time he split with Linda. Well worth a read

Edit - ah I see it is a BBC doc so I should have already seen it! Will watch anyway!
