Get the tempo of a project without opening it

Hi there:)

Is there any possibility to read out the tempo of a project without opening it?

 

Got "Projectscope", nice helper but the tempo isn't readout!

 

Can open the projecfile in a text editor but I can't find the tempo information!

A workaround- 

I back up all my important projects as Midi files. I learned to always include the tempo in the Title a long time ago because most other Daw's only import midi so you don't get a tempo.  Then when I open my Project folders,  the midi file is right there and tells me the tempo. There will also be the lyric text file as well as a lot of my set lists have the Name, Tempo and Key so you can at a glance select different stuff. 

Example:  " Bang a Gong- A 127BPM"

This made me wonder... @azslow3 knows the construct of CWP files well, so he may have something already made for this. He could probably extract the tempo map from a CWP as well, since static tempos are not always applicable. I forgot offhand who made Project Scope, but it is worth shooting them a PM as well to ask.

These are old files and I have not written the Tempo in the Filenames, what a pity🤨

@Heinz Hupfer not the answer you are looking for but if a project contains audio, you can drag that up to the time Rule and it will extract and create a tempo map of the project.
