Are Lenny and the SquigTones a prequel from the days before there were prequels?  Foreshadowing?  An example of the benefits of Time Travel?

Just for the fun of it, here's a real news segment (2003) about the legendary 1960s folk trio the Folksmen who were immortalized in "A Mighty Wind."
