bayoubill
I am trying out different drummers on JS4. Each has it's own thing going on so I use them with any song I’m composing. When I’m happy with what I have I copy and paste into AD2. then find the right sound with a kit that sounds best for the song. After that I go back back to JS4 to get the right kit sound from it. I either use both tracks or a little of each to complete an arrangement What do you guys do? Edited November 4, 2019 by bayoubill I know all the drummers here will talk about how much better Neil Peart could've done it.
scook
May want to try driving AD2 directly from JS4. Add both synths to a project Enable MIDI Output in VST2 drop down above the JS4 UI - red box in the image below Set the MIDI input for AD2 to JS4 In the JS4 UI load the kit "MIDI Out Template" under "@ Special Kits" - 1 in image below load "Addictive Drums 2" - 2 in image below Remove unneeded kit pieces (optional) Enable input echo for both synths 2
