Glenn Stanton Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 and a PC with the IO rates / paths / etc to actually utilize it. ~2.3gb/s sustained for 2000 tracks at 48/24? 2
Max Arwood Posted August 11, 2024 Author Posted August 11, 2024 Yes in a few years the gamers will have pc’s that should handle that.Â

($21,995) 😆 I don't think you need video console... The only connectors are for Fairlight Audio Interface and 1x in each direction MADI (4x in each direction with extender). But I guess no PC will help you to get a single from 2000 Core Audio Tracks, you need a Mac... 😉 1

Just because a DAW has unlimited track capability doesn't mean a computer can handle anywhere close to that. 1
Max Arwood Posted August 12, 2024 Author Posted August 12, 2024 I have 150 tracks with 200 FX and my computer is choking  So you looked at my last song? Yea I had to freeze about 140 tracks 😉 1

($21,995) 😆 When I bought a Yamaha SW1000XG card back in 2002, it was more than this (in AU$) (the price was reduced to $AU377.00 after trading in other items Edited August 13, 2024 by Promidi
Max Arwood Posted August 13, 2024 Author Posted August 13, 2024 Nice that they let you do those trade ins. Great card!
Max Arwood Posted August 13, 2024 Author Posted August 13, 2024 On that 150’ tracks. We still need to be able to freeze a bus (like stems). I guess I would need to export bus, import bus, archive tracks manually. Lol
