steve@baselines.com Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Hi! Here's my cover version of the 1972 Spinner's hit I'll Be Around - one of my favorites. @elizabethdarcel on vocals and myself (@steve2k2) on instruments, mix and master. Hope you like it! http://baselines.com/?p=4783 1
Hidden Symmetry Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Enjoyed it, being from Detroit I was teethed on Motown & R&B. I played many the club doing these tunes in my teens, it's nice to hear them again. I'm on laptop but it sounds fine. Enjoyed the vocalist too, reminded me of Rod Stewart in spots. 1
steve@baselines.com Posted November 2, 2019 Author Posted November 2, 2019 Ahh, the good old days. That must have been fun out there in Detroit. We only gigged the east coast pretty much, '75-'83 - I miss it.
markno999 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Steve, Great job on this track. You captured the overall Motown vibe of the era and the performances and vocals are really good. Huge thumbs up. Regards 1
