GTsongwriter Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Hi, I am still using Sonar Producer 8.5.3. The current only way I'm able to use it with VST3 is by using Blue Cat's Patchwork plugin wrapper for VST2 to VST3. Curious if the newest Cakewalk would have a perpetual license ability?
Bristol_Jonesey Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Wait and see. Nobody here knows. This thread will self destruct in 5....4....3.....

Right now Sonar is only available via BandLab Membership. Cakewalk by BandLab supports VST3 though as well though. There may be additional licensing options for Sonar in the future, but there's no details as to if/when anything might change there. 4
