John Davey Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Hey, I've just subscribed and downloaded Sonar for Windows. I'm surprised that there seems to be no proper manual (the 'documentation' search function just provides external advertising!). Am I missing something? I'm an old-time Cakewalk user, but just recommenced composition and midi etc. after a few years. Maybe I should refer to an older manual? Any advice greatly appreciated Cheers, John
Guest Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 (edited) Cakewalk Next manual I think is about 246 pages. It is well written and easy to learn about features. I Googled " Cakewalk Next PDF" and only hit is the Next Web site which doesn't have a link to the help file. Edited July 26, 2024 by Sock Monkey
Bristol_Jonesey Posted Tuesday at 01:07 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:07 PM From the Help menu, click documentation And if you don't like wading through menus, the Assist Menu provides many options Also - Cakewalk Next is NOT Sonar. If you follow the manual for Next you'll get hopelessly confused. 1
Bass Guitar Posted Tuesday at 04:39 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:39 PM Im travelling so can’t confirm but isn’t Local Documentation installed from the Cakewalk Product Manager?
Byron Dickens Posted Tuesday at 06:15 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:15 PM It is. There's also a link to the documentation up top. 2
