Patrick Colton Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 It's called Free to Love. Thanks in advance for your help. Tom. 1
Bajan Blue Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Hi Sounds good - I do think the Guitar counterbalancing the vocal starting around .30 secs is a bit too loud and distracts from the vocals which are good Apart from that, the mix sounds pretty good although is it heavily compressed? The mix is loud Apart from that cool Nigel 1
Patrick Colton Posted July 11, 2024 Author Posted July 11, 2024 Thanks Nigel. I'll take a listen to that piece. Also, It's easy to ease up on the compression on the master mix. Thanks! Tom.
KSband Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Cool song. I think the lead parts could be a touch louder. 1
Lynn Wilson Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Patrick, this is a good song with good performances! However, to my ears, the mix is close, but it's lacking in clarity because it is so ambient. Perhaps a shorter reverb for the vocal could help, and/or a little more volume, too. This is just waiting for the right tweaks to be stellar. Kudos 1
Patrick Colton Posted July 12, 2024 Author Posted July 12, 2024 Thanks KSband, Lynn and Jack. Thanks for the feedback. I'll taake a look at all those things. Jack, any suggestions to unmuddy the vocal. EQ maybe? Tom. (It says Patrick but people call me Tom)
